Boots online order

Has anyone else had trouble with Boots online. I put an order in for some toiletries plus a smart watch. The toiletries arrived but no smart watch. Contacting Boots was so difficult, kept getting generic replies but now it seems they out sourced my order to another supplier and theyve said its up to me to contact that supplier to find out where my smart watch is. Sorry if this is complicated. I'm sure that as I have paid Boots for my order it sould be up to them to find my watch. I really just want a refund now as I don't trust them but apparently this is also up to the third party that I knew nothing about. Just wondering if anyone else has been in this position and if so what happened?

I have had this with Boots where I ordered toiletries and Tonies characters and the toiletries came before the tonies as apparently a 3rd party source.

When were the toiletries delivered?

Also think it’s bad they’ve asked you to contact the third party supplier!!

I've just looked at various smart watches on the Boots site and at the top of most of them it says "Delivered by supplier. This product will be delivered directly from our supplier. As such delivery times may vary, see below for more details"

So they haven't done anything wrong, they've told you they don't send it themselves. They have no control over the third party's shipping. Unless they guaranteed delivery by a certain date, wait a bit before complaining.

There’s loads on TikTok about boots online ordering being absolutely terrible for customer service. I would still check in with the third party supplier for your watch though, but don’t order online from them again.

I'll never order from boots again. It said delivery by the 21.11. I didn't realise the supplier wasn't boots themselves. My bad but I just didn't think such a big well known company would do this.

Hi there, just wondering did your smart watch arrive? I ordered some Tonies on 21st November and the same thing has happened. Boots asked me to contact the supplier (Thames distribution) which I did but they have not replied to my email and didn't answer the phone. Wondering whether they will arrive by Xmas....

I had wrong concealer sent and they told me they can’t help and need to go into a shop to get a refund or exchange! They were very rude long the call and put me off ordering again

Sorry you are having the same problem. The watch didn't arrive. I spoke to boots again as the supplier didn't answer the email I sent to them. Boots were still insisting that it wasn't their problem. In the end I got quite angry, I wasn't rude but pointed out that it was Boots that I had paid my money too so it was them that subcontracted my order out so it was indeed their job to trace where my order had gone. The man on the phone actually agreed with me bit said that is how Boots work. A few days later I got a text saying that there was no stock so they would refund me. A terrible company I will never buy there again.
