AIBU to be paranoid? marketplace TV sale returned

Not sure if being paranoid, and of what, but something seems off. DH sold TV on Facebook marketplace, good smart large TV, fully working.
buyers paid cash (£200) and left
half an hour later they’re back, said TV doesn’t work, want their money back. DH took TV, gave them the money back and they left.
DH knows it works but couldn’t be bothered to argue, we’re moving house today and up against it time wise.
Now the tricky bit, this couple seemed a bit dodge, wrong side of the tracks kind of thing, don’t shoot me down, just painting the picture. He was a bit twitchy (addict?) she was rough as they come.
But why am I feeling paranoid? What could they possible have achieved? Feels like they were up to something, it just feels off.
Smart TV wasn’t cleared for app logins, just turned off, but could they do anymore than watch our Netflix? No CC info accessible? Could they get passwords off it? Never shopped on it or anything….
maybe they just changed their minds, but troubling me a little ….
thoughts?

Perhaps they had the same one but it was broken and switched it out? Did you take a note of the serial numbers?
