Posting here for traffic

Just looking at our property in land registry and noticed our house has two tittle numbers? Why is this?

Impossible to tell without seeing the title registers.

Can you post them here with the personal stuff blanked out?

SigrunGard · 29/11/2025 12:35

Possible that the property has both a freehold and leasehold title number ( do you pay ground rent?)

Questionsquestio · 29/11/2025 12:37

They are both freehold

One starts with LN follow by 5 numbers and the other one starts with TGL follow by 6 numbers

Very strange; will have to look at the house documents

Could it be that it was originally 2 parcels of land? So at some point someone bought the garden and added it on or something?

MovedlikeHarlowinMonteCarlo · 29/11/2025 12:48

Probably the old title number when it was all land and now your new title number which is just for your plot.

is it a newish build? Possibly the number for the original land and then the number for the house.
