Not sure if you started your thread in AIBU to provoke irritation and testy replies, or because you didn’t know other topics exist here, @SSTulip?

If the latter, you might consider restarting here:

(And maybe give enough detail to pique readers’ interest and enable them to offer considered suggestions.)

If you like brushed cotton, I find Dorma stays soft through the washing machine for a long time. I've seen Asda recommended but found theirs went hard quite quickly.
Colour? Budget?

Next do good quality sets that wash well and have long lives.

If you’re after 100 percent cotton with a bit of pattern, I tried a set from Leruum recently and it’s been really nice. The cotton feels comfortable and the print hasn’t faded after a few washes, which is usually my worry with patterned bedding.
I hadn’t heard of the brand before, just found them while browsing, but the quality seems good and everything feels breathable. Might be worth a look if you want something patterned that still feels proper cotton. link here: https://leruum.com/

We but also our stuff from here - https://home.richardhaworth.co.uk/

It’s made in the uk and really good quality. We have a couple of holiday lets and people often comment on the bedding.
