And my daughter.

She did some work for school and extra award. She had to do various tasks, complete and record them and she'll get a special certificate, and she can then do the higher levels in future years.

We submitted the portfolio 6 weeks ago.... We politely waited for 3 weeks, as half term was in the middle of it. Then sent a message asking if it was received... Nothing.... Then a week later asked again. Nothing. Spoke to class teacher who said they'll pass it on as it's a Head teacher award and they had to approve it... So we waited again... The next week we asked again. This week my daughter actually asked head teacher herself at drop-off and was assured she'd get it this Wednesday at special assembly.. ..

Still no certificate!

Send an email expressing how disappointed your daughter is to have her hard work ignored. That is very poor of the Head.

Yes, email the head expressing how hard your daughter worked on it and how disappointed you both were that this went unnoticed and unacknowledged.
