Hiya!
Bit of a weird question but wanted to ask, please and thank u in advance x
I was visiting my cousin who lives in Lancashire today and witnessed a member of the public supporting a vulnerable person in the street. From what I understood a vulnerable elderly woman with dementia was walking around the streets in the freezing cold from 3pm onwards pushing a trolley with clothes inside. A young gentleman stopped her, called police and waited with her for at least 1 hour until a policeman finally arrived, found the address and escorted the woman home in his car. However the gentleman offered to walk her trolley and belongings to her house behind the police car because it wouldn’t fit in the car. I thought he was really kind and considerate especially when multiple people clearly saw the vulnerable woman walking around and didn’t do anything!
I thought it would be nice to recognise the young man’s behaviour but not really sure how to do this - anyone who could point me in the right direction??
The man was really quiet and I saw him return to the street where I was with my cousin afterwards and go back home. He’d been with the woman for at least 1.5 hours in total start to end!
