AIBU to ask you to tell me not to spiral / share your own somewhat mortifying work tech fails? Trying to join a zoom call at work today (we use teams on our system so when a client shares a diary invite that’s a zoom it inevitably causes issues trying to get dialled in). Despite me testing beforehand that my headphones were connected my stupid Bluetooth headphones wouldn’t connect, so I was broadcasting my call to my room. That in itself not an issue, we’ve literally all done that. But I was flapping going “arrrg why won’t they fucking connect”, not realising I had unmuted the microphone. Pretty sure they all heard me swear, they were just all v polite, but I feel mortified at being so unprofessional.
