Do rich people feel guilty?

OneWiseAmberOP · 23/11/2025 14:19

By rich I mean comfortably private school, buying luxury items and holidays on a regular basis witohut having to save up for it.

If you think you've earned your money and people are just jealous do you not see 'your' money came from extactive capitalistic practices and its taken from the pockets of people who are not rich...?

I feel bad. She might have MH issues and/or a serious medical issue affecting her teeth.

She might do, because she also wants a communist model in the UK

The Communist model seems to be very popular with those who want what others have without the responsibility of earning it.

I feel bad for what I said. We don't know the cause of her dental issues.

In the vast majority of cases I'd say its caused by bad oral hygiene, but who knows. Regardless, she is mad her dentist wants to be paid for, you know, working.

Mydogsmellslikewee · 25/11/2025 19:08

I was very rich once and I fucking loved it. No guilt.

Fair enough.

I apologise wholeheartedly for what I said.

I'm mad because everyone in the world insists I get a job but how am I meant to go to an interview looking like this with front teeth smashed out ?

Ok that's a pity, I still don't see how the dentist should work for free to fix your teeth, or that they should feel guilty for not doing it for free for you. You can get clip in false teeth online for cheap, might help you get through the interview process to then earn money to get them done.

I have some savings but will need a loan I don't know it might work out

What happened?

It must be worse to go from rich to non-rich.

How much is the treatment? Would the NHS cover it if they put you on the waitlist?

I divorced a lawyer with lawyers for parents and siblings. From aristocracy with family money and trust funds.

It was money through marriage. Which was very well protected. I left with my son and the clothes on our backs. Was fun while it lasted, but the STD from his love of prostitutes was the last straw.

Sorry to hear that. But I did laugh at the love of prostitutes 😂. Let's hope he got syphilis.

The courts upheld the prenup?

No NHS won't do it. Tens of thousands I will need. I'm just trying to stay positive and thinking it will work out

I'm so sorry. I honestly don't know what to say. Sorry about your accident as well. Once again sorry for my remarks.

He looks like the elephant man anyway, and was a stuck up cunt, I don’t know what I was thinking. Current dh is far poorer but fit as fuck, and the loveliest man you could meet and doesn’t pay for sex workers, so alls well that ends well.

It was all solid.

And basically, “fight us and we’ll take your son”. My son is worth more than all the money in the world, so I walked away. Money isn’t worth years of stress and fighting that would have impacted him.

Your ex doesn't even see his son anymore? I'm sorry about that.

He does. My son is 23 now, so it’s only a few times a year (ds still lives at home with me).

we split when he was 8. Ex h was very busy and important, don’t you know, and moved in with someone he having an affair with who didn’t like ds much. So it was EOW for a few months until he got bored, then once a month, then a few times a year by the time he was 15.

Ds is grand though. I married a wonderful man who ds calls dad and is very close to. He’s supported ds financially and in every other way. I’m lucky.

Ex h family never saw ds again. Their choice, I wouldn’t have stopped them. Their loss, he’s fantastic and my now in-laws have been the most fantastic grandparents to him that you could ever wish for, you’d never know he wasn’t their flesh and blood.
