So Excited Flirting GIF

Chilled Saturday home today and Uswitch shall provide.

Slot booked 12-5
Hoover ready to go
3 loads of washing ready to go, looking around for stuff for 4th...
Dehumidifier and electric heaters ready to go
May help drying with a hairdryer on top of that😂 (no timble drier currently)
Mega roast session to eat over next few days and freeze some. Just marinating the meat.
Kettle shall not rest (boiling water with washing up liquid is just perfect bathroom clean combo)
Heating up the flat to a tropical temper hoping it will stick a bit and will make heating bit easier in next few days.

What a sad realisation this actually excites me😂

I know it's not the OP's fault, but it's a tad topical as there is no power here atm. I'm typing this on a laptop because there is still some battery left on this machine.

Is it "free free" with USwitch? The Octopus version is free electricity above your normal usage as calculated by them (no supporting calculation provided!). I have managed some reasonable bill credits but I do have a huge number of unusual high energy use things I can wack on that aren't often used (pool pump, sauna, EV) in addition to usual suspects!

The first one was great. I did loads of washing, timed the dishwasher for it and batched cooked a ton of meals. I think I saved about £3.50!

Week 2 was just all the washing and drying - about £1.50

Week 3 I missed it as ended up going out unexpectedly but still saved 80p.

Today planning for washing and tumbling again and maybe the slow cooker.

I’m with octopus never heard of this. Will I get an offer? And how?

You have missed it now - you had to sign up by end of October. They wil redo the saving sessions though where you get paid to cut down usage.

Just quick note. I really thought most here knew because I found out about it on MN.

Uswitch says they will plan more there and there in future too.
They are basically paying us for our usage data, which I am fine with and access can be rescinded. Difference between having offer like that from providee vs uswitch is that you need to withdraw money from them at the end of offer and shift it into your energy account. With provoder it's credited straight in. Looks like I did £7.50 worth yesterday thus have only little left for next weekend😂 dang. Overshot a bit.

For any free offers afaik you need to have a smart meter.

Yeah uswitch doesn't do average so it's all. So far the credits matched with my numbers.
