To use ‘will’ instead of ‘would’ in job application?

Hoping for views on a job application I’m doing for a ‘big job’ please. I need to include some lines on my vision for the job and my skills etc, but writing ‘My vision IS… and I WILL bring xxx to the role’ feels a bit much somehow. However, ‘My vision would be … and I WOULD bring xxxx’ feels less than confident.

I may be overthinking but would appreciate any votes on:

YANBU - use WILL, you confident successful leader
YABU - use WOULD, you cocky so and so

If it’s 50/50 I’ll regret this 😀

If you have the skills then you will bring them won’t you. It’s good to use confident and active language. Go with “my vision is and I will bring x to the role”.

Yep I would go with ‘will’. Be confident! (I recently got a ‘big job’ and - to be honest - I did feel like a bit of a dick writing it, but it seems to have worked! Good luck 😊

Will, will, will. Be big and confident and proud of yourself.
Good luck!

Do you need to say either?

can you not just say “I bring X years of experience to the role” or whatever

no, that really doesn’t sound right yet for something that’s (hopefully) still in the future.

Or, cut out the modal verbs and just say "My vision is X and I bring Y to the role" 👍

Thanks everyone! 9 out of 10 mumsnetters who answered the poll are in the go confident camp, so I will! Noted at least one ‘will’ can be tempered by styling as @InterestedDad37 suggests. Thanks again. Now to stop overthinking the rest of it and confidently submit.
Love mumsnet for things like this, it’s like having a good mate at hand.

Good luck with the application 👍

You need to write what "AI" can parse best.

I think “will” signifies intent and purpose in a good way.
