I am afraid to say too much, I worry it’s outing, but a lot about it, just feels so off.

Without a shred of context it makes this thread impossible to engage properly with!

That was very informative OP
How can we help?...🤷‍♀️

I know, sorry I didn’t mean to post just that.

essentially, everyone is very very young and inexperienced. It’s very sharky and unfriendly and there is no culture. Well the only culture there is, is that people seem to think it’s important to stay late and come in early. There isn’t even anywhere to really sit and we share desks. It’s a big office but I guess it’s still too small for the amount of people there.

I think I’m the oldest person there and I’m late 30s. No parents at all there in any of my teams or the teams I work closely with. It’s not a very friendly place at all. I wasn’t even really shown where to sit. It just feels off in so many ways.

the new starter training wasn’t bad.

I don’t want to get into too much detail about what it is I actually do. But I just feel out of place and it doesn’t seem like a friendly work place/ it doesn’t have a nice culture.

Do you want to go back to your previous job?

Do you want to go back to your previous job?

I can’t. Redundancy.

Get on Indeed and restart your job search? Jobs/companies aren’t always going to be the right fit, stick it out until you find another role or if you can afford to leave without a new job to go to yet then just resign and write this one off as a bad fit.

If it doesn't feel right, time to start job searching again!

I'd give it a month or so to settle before deciding.
