umm
do you have the bottom bit actually in the water? Push the big button several times - you have to create a vaccuum for the water to actually be pushed up through the internal tube thingy
and then it should work

You need the main part of it out of the water I think, and just the lower hose part in the water. Then pump away until you're bored of it, that's when the water comes out.

Ours didn't last long, the button's stuck in. And it looked like it was going to be loads of fun

LonelySingleMummy you look gorgeous in your picture really smiley!good luck job hunting

objectivity · 07/06/2008 23:39

yeah you really have towork it with the big button pushing!

LonelySingleMummy · 08/06/2008 22:22

Thanks ScottishMummy - just got one! You mustve brought me luck

Pushed the button loads of times but it takes ages to come back out again so it is quite slow and laborious. Think mightve been nice idea but not practical lol

LonelySingleMummy - no its just a crap toy - alongwith their bubble machines which will only work for longer than 3 mins in the actual shop..

The bubble machines are fab - so long as you have them plugged in. Far easier.

I don't think we've EVER had a bath toy from ELC that was any good

the penguins sliding on the helterskelter didn't after the first go...

the floating carpark was WAY too big for the bath....

the squirting octopus stopped squirting....

Are we just unlucky or are all their toys crap?

ruddynorah · 09/06/2008 11:53

the toy is crap. your dc will probably not have the strength to pump it. plus it will fill with black mould stuff so one day you will pump it and get covered in gunk. nice.

Hulababy · 09/06/2008 12:09

If like ours there is a power supply connection - we got a power pack suitable to use with it.
