I can’t find a good picture. There are turkey, a beef joint, some other meat main. Bowls, tureens and dishes of roast potatoes, stuffing etc.
There are about 30 different food dishes.

Also this is making some people that you need to buy all this food for Christmas. Which most gets wasted (ie binned)

They are just showing off their wares. You don’t actually have to replicate. It supposed to give you ideas.

It's really not that deep. Supermarkets sell food. They are showing the Christmas range of food. Anyone that thinks that means they have to buy all the variations of meat deserts etc must be a bit thick. Maybe give people some credit.

It's called advertising.

DiscoBeat · 15/11/2025 17:22

It's advertising so obviously a little OTT. But you can cook lots of dishes, eg turkey in one oven, beef in another if you have it and then cook the rest while the meat rests.

Quickqueensquirrel · 15/11/2025 18:34

Don't let this image seen at supermarkets at this festive time of year bother you op.
You're not supposed to actually think when you look at the images, you're supposed to be reminded of something you might have forgotten, or might like to try, and then buy, buy , buy!

Oh FFS.

Anyone with any common sense gets what they would like to have and can afford, in appropriate quantities and serves it in their own dishes.

And only a complete idiot ‘bins’ any significant amount of food.
