What's with all these reels on Instagram and Facebook? Usually picking on a dead or ageing celebrity in a wheelchair. I find them creepy. Just why?

You could look at it that they’re saying ‘old people matter, they were once living a full life like you, don’t dismiss them as unimportant’

but I do feel it leans more towards ‘look how they’ve ended up!’.

It's so tiresome and because they're reels I can't block them.
