To feel so unloved and so unwanted

My friends birthday today. We had drinks at hers, couples. Her DH posted on social media "happy birthday to my absolute sole and rock". I never even got so much as a birthday card from my DH this year. We got home, DH put his arms around me. I asked if he could tell I've lost weight. He said no.

Feeling quite miffed

No sex in a long time, due to DH. Always an excuse. Tonight I had some sexy undies on while getting ready for us to go out .. I moved a bit sexily in front of him.. but nothing... Christ, in his mind I must be fat and foul...

I think you need to have a conversation rather than hinting. At least then you'll know where you stand with your relationship.

It's horrible to feel unloved, I'm sorry that's how your evening has been.

How's the relationship outside the sex?

I feel the same too.
I think you need to have an open conversation about it like pp suggested.
How is he otherwise, does he show affection? (Sounds like it from putting arms around you?) do favours, his share around the house etc? Could he be feeling low himself
