Mud on just one shoe? It definitely look like something else! Either way, if I sell shoes who I listed as good, let alone excellent, I make sure I clean them before taking pictures!

You see I don't. I take pictures of them as is and list as being dirty and in need of cleaning. I've sold lots with no issues. The one time I did clean them is the one time I got a complaint about them being dirty - they weren't, they just weren't new.

Also to the person who said they’re not claiming to be selling them brand new…. all items sold should be at least clean whether brand new or not. Stained is different to dirty, items can be clean but stained.

I'm not precious in the slightest but this would put me off. If someone can't be arsed to spend 30 seconds running a baby wipe over the sole of a shoe then god knows what state they would actually turn up in. Posting clean items is the absolute bare minimum.
