Should I ring back?

4yo ds is unwell with fever, vomiting and sore throat with swollen tonsils that contain pus. We saw GP this morning and they prescribed 7 days of antibiotics. This will be the third time he’s had tonsillitis this month, and his third course of antibs.

However he isn’t keeping the medication down, and his temp is rising again.

Would you call the surgery or see how he goes? I’m not sure if they can do anything else

If his antibiotics are not staying down I would

Yes, ring GP back, he's not getting the medication prescribed to help him, they need to know that and act as necessary.

Yes - they think he needs medication, but he isn’t able to take it.
