To think they have dimmed the street lights

Everywhere is SO dark, driving is a nightmare. Walking is treacherous as you can barely see the pavement in front of you, what is going on?! Have they dimmed the street lights ?

Same where I am. They took down all the lampposts in our village last year and put new ones up. But they moved them all slightly so that where there used to be 3 lampposts there is now only 2, covering the same area. They also changed the bulbs in them to eco ones. There are some places where they would be as well not having lampposts for all the good they are.

most bizarre ones were the lanes into the park. The lampposts used to be at the park end of the lane which lit up the whole lane and part of the park. Amazing for walking the dogs at night……. They moved the lampposts out of both lanes, past the fences and out onto the pavement where there are other lampposts already there. Both lanes and the park are now in complete darkness. Multiple people complained about it as you cannot see 2 feet in front of you in the park now and were basically told they don’t care.
