They are in a way a kind of tribute g, but even so

I quite like them tbh to see a persons life in photos and see everything they achieved. It kind of fleshes them out when you’re thinking oh life is short, well yes but look at everything they did in their life

I sort of like them as well, in a strange way. I think I'm drawn to slightly sad things. See also John Lewis adverts. Pauline Collins was about 42 in Shirley Valentine, which would have been my mums age at that time. Now of course my wife and I are both older than that. Maybe it's just ageing etc
