To think that it shouldn't be this hard to meet up with my cousin

Every year my cousin wants to meet up near Christmas. I always give her a few dates when i am free. She always responds that she is busy on said dates. I then ask her when she is free so that i can try and sort something out. I just get met with silence.

She's being polite, but has no real interest in fitting you in.

At some point you’ve got to ask yourself why you keep doing this.

Stop bothering.

I think that i have just been too polite. I have decided that i am not putting myself through it again as i have better things to do.
