I am wondering if there are any lawyers out here who could give an opinion on one clause in a contract please?

I'm not sure I'd be using Mumsnet as my go to law source if it's anything serious 🤨

If you mean you have been offered a settlement agreement (employment) then your employer makes a legal fee contribution for you to be advised by a solicitor. Therefore take advice from a qualified expert at no cost to you, rather than randoms on the internet.
