Would you buy a family home on a busy road

I'm wondering would most people buy a family semi d on a busy road, in a location that is expensive but close to the city, driveway for several cars at the front, but constant traffic doing 30 - 40mph, sometimes backed up in front of the house? My friend thinks it's undesirable but I think the house looks lovely and would be great.

It depends...

With tiny kids and no gates then no just incase.

If I'm still married then also so because my husband won't have an indoor cat.

If I'm alone with older kids or my husband is on board with an indoor cat and it was within walking distance to a shop then I would consider it although it would have to tick many other boxes first.

We did. The road has got busier over the years but we still only have trouble getting off the drive at rush hour. I love our house and our back garden is surprisingly peaceful.

The pollution levels drop off hugely with distance, but no I would not want to live in a place on a main road and if you go on the web you can see exactly what the effects of pollution are at various distances and some of the health effects of these.
