To give up on dungarees because going the loo is such a sodding mission?

Day 2 of wearing dungarees.

I thought they would be a useful addition to the wardrobe for my WFH/country muddy walks in addition to jeans. So far, I have almost dropped the straps in the loo twice and found myself deciding not to make another cup of tea to stave off the loo shenanigans.

Is it just me??

They have always seemed like more work than they're worth, plus I think I'd probably look ridiculous in them, now. I think I may have had a pair when I was a child, but not since.

At least dungarees are honest about what they are on the rack.

The number of times I've picked up a nice dress only to find out it's a sodding jumpsuit ...

Not really had a problem going to the loo and I have several dungas.
I tend to pick ones that dont need undoing at the waist then you only have the straps to worry about.
If Im not going out I leave one strap undone so its easy to get off and on. You do have to be careful you dont dangle bits in the loo but its def possibe!

I think the season might be a factor in the challenge of dungas. The addition of a layer over one's dungarees adds a level of stress to bathroom palaver.

Would you not have the jumper tucked into the dungarees OP? I agree re going on walks though as then you might need a jacket on top.

Sadly no, the straps aren’t long enough!

I love wearing them, but the loo thing is a pain, especially in colder weather when you are wearing a cardigan over the top. I was out at the weekend wearing dungarees and carrying a big backpack - every time I needed the loo, the backpack, coat and cardigan had to come off, whereas with jeans I could have just pulled them down.
They are so comfy though.
