Posting here for traffic.
As above please. We have the small toastie version but if like to know what works well using the full size one when it comes to cooking meals. I'm thinking of easy cleaning and fewer cooking smells too. It's just the two of us at mealtimes.

Can anyone let me know if they can see my post please?

OP posts:
fairislecable · 03/11/2025 13:33

I can see your post but I have no idea what a Leuke grill is.

JacquesHarlow · 03/11/2025 13:40

Is "posting for traffic" just a synonym for "I'm really important and demand an answer NOW" ....?

SauceySally · 03/11/2025 13:52

Sounds like you need answers ASAP - is it on sale and the sale ending very soon? Try googling for reviews, or check youtube, or whatever other SM platform you have - facebook, Instagram, TT

Starlightwarrior · 03/11/2025 15:20

JH. It's anything but demanding. Sorry if it came across that way and thanks for your unhelpful post. I'm not too used to the forums as a poster yet. You sure know how to see people off though.
Fairislecable, thank you anyway. It's a silicone microwave grill from Lakeland. I should've included an image but didn't know how.

Starlightwarrior · 03/11/2025 15:22

SaucySally, thank you. Yes it's on sale at half price. I'll try elsewhere. My posts are not coming through in the right order

I think it means:

"I know my post is nothing to do with being reasonable or not being reasonable, but I'm going to put it here anyway".

OP - I'm sure there must be a cooking forum somewhere for your post, so why don't you make the effort to find it and move your post there.

Starlightwarrior · 03/11/2025 15:57

PoS you have no idea of the effort it took to even post a message. Try opening your mind before your mouth

What does PoS mean?

Why is it so difficult to post a message?

Thatsanotherfinemess1 · 03/11/2025 16:12

I've never heard of it but the reviews look good.
Lakeland are really good at refunds if it doesn't work as well as you hope. I'd have a look on Amazon for reviews, as well.

Starlightwarrior · 03/11/2025 16:29

Thank you for your post. I will do that when I can. I do rate Lakeland. Would just have been interested to hear from people on here too.
PoS, my hands often don't work properly so it often takes time but it would've been good to interact with people. Now go away with your nasty comments.

I simply pointed out that you could have posted in a more appropriate place, after you became impatient at the lack of response you were getting.

Having received a small number of replies, you have made a insincere apology and accused a poster of being unhelpful and accused two of us of being "nasty".

You told me to "open my mind" to your difficulties that I couldn't possibly know anything about.

This is an open forum so I don't have to go away just because you don't like what I said.

You need to think about where you post and how you respond to people who take the time to reply to your posts, otherwise you are in for a rough ride here.

Starlightwarrior · 03/11/2025 17:11

I only called you nasty PoS - only you. JH was the original unhelpful one. I asked if anyone could see my post because I couldn't find it myself. Please do try to wait awhile to think of others' possible situations. Of course you can't possibly one of them so please THINK! I am going to have this thread looked at but I have thanked those who tried to be helpful. I should have replied to them in separate posts, I realise that now but my thanks are there.

Yes, YABU.

CatAsstrophe · 03/11/2025 19:05

YABU and very rude. The people who have posted aren't mind-readers. They don't know what problems you have, nor is it their problem that you're not familiar with the forum.

How about you THINK about how you're coming across. HTH.

PS - referring to someone as 'PoS' = Piece of Shit. Not good.

Starlightwarrior · 03/11/2025 19:23

PoS is the poster's name abbreviated. Your interpretation is ... interesting, but I shouldn't be surprised. And I would always think carefully first before posting a reply to a question, whether I could help or not. Just scroll on if you can't assist someone. That's all you need to do. I explained the reason for posting where I did and the reason for my second post - that's the end of it as far as I can see.

Come on now, the OP was responding to PuzzlesonSaturday and PoS is an abbreviation of that name.

I thought it meant ‘I’m posting here because I’m hoping for a lot of responses about a product she’s thinking of buying’. A bit like reading reviews for a product but asking on Mumsnet.

FuzzyPuffling · 03/11/2025 19:39

I thought you were advertising it and fully expected a handy link.

tobee · 03/11/2025 19:40

I believe you are being disingenuous. I'm sure you know what most people think PoS means.

I asked even asked you "What does PoS mean?" to be sure I hadn't misunderstood. That was your opportunity to clear up any confusion about your meaning. Instead you ignored the question and doubled down in your next comment to me saying "I only called you nasty PoS - only you".

You knew you had posted in the wrong place "Posting here for traffic" and got all arsey when you didn't get the prompt replies you expected.

You are being very unreasonable expecting to drop your nasty comments and declare "that's the end of it...". That is not your prerogative. The end of it will come when everyone who wants to say something has done so.

I'm not bunfighting, just saying what my initial thought was. It matters, as it affects my response, or lack of.

It is an abbreviation of my user name, but anyone who doesn't live under a rock knows it can mean "piece of shit".

To give the OP the benefit of the doubt, I asked her to explain her meaning. She didn't answer the question and repeated her insult.

Starlightwarrior · 03/11/2025 19:51

This is my last post on this thread but I apologise for not clearing the PoS part up - I couldn't believe you hadn't realised when I had abbreviated another poster's name. Anyway we're obviously not getting anywhere here but, to those who have tried to reason and help, I was indeed hoping for "real" (as in I like to think I could trust people whose names I've become familiar with) recommendations as I've seen so many people being helpful on this site in the past. Thank you to those!
