To wonder if anyone knows they're a descendant from a pilgram?

Posting in AIBU for traffic but I've just finished watching the documentary Pilgrimage: The road through the Alps. Then I started wondering whether anyone out there knows that their ancestors were the "OG" so to speak, that in Medieval times undertook a pilgrimage. Would be fascinating stuff! If yes, what stories did they share? Sadly no known pilgrams in my family, only a swagman with no set purpose or destination

You'll have lots of posters come and tell you that you can't be descended from something that doesn't exist (pilgram) as this is AIBU and notoriously straight talking. Maybe ask the mods to change your title?

But to answer your question, I don't know anyone - sorry :(
