To think that this kids puzzle is creepy (to say the least)!

Posting here for traffic really! My kids were gifted this puzzle of Postman Pat's Greendale years ago and only when they put it together recently did I realise it seems to be pretty chilling... thoughts? Is it me, or do the empty houses appear to be surrounded by blood splatters?

Why isn’t Postman Pat in it? Or any other characters? YANBU, it’s creepy because the town looks abandoned.

Cleary there is rooster slaughter and spirit-summoning going on behind those exceedingly ordinary suburban houses. Probably bodies in the basements as well.

You're only seeing blood because it's Halloween. It's too pink for blood, and too widely spread.

But now that you've pointed it out to me, it looks like there are bloody footprints outside the houses in the centre, set back from the road. Cool!

That is what I thought, and to those saying so, I really don't think the red signifies flowers! The red spot sized are too random and not positioned like flowers, e.g. outside the house back centre.. to me they really look like pools of blood in an abandoned town. Glad at least one other persons sees it!

Honestly? I think it just looks like there's been an error during the printing with a few specks of red ink. Clearly, nobody is putting blood spatters into a Postman Pat jigsaw puzzle ffs.

Mrs Goggins has justifiably murdered everyone because she got fed up of waiting for her delivery from TocTok Shop while Pat wasted time rescuing sheep and went beserk. Or postal, if you prefer….

It gives off vibes of a model town, like the one in Beetlejuice, too. That contributes to the vague sense of creepiness.
