I was expecting a package yesterday and stayed in. But no tracking information, not even on the app. Tracker said it was still at the depot and had been there two days. At 8 pm I used the live chat and was told that it was definitely out for delivery and would arrive before 9. At 9, the tracking information changed to say a delivery attempt had been made at 1.30, that no one was in ( I was!) and the parcel had been returned to the depot!
Why can’t they at least be honest?
Apparently , it’s on its way again today. At least this time I can see it on the tracking map!

yodel are useless. I wax trackings package and the info disappeared so I got an e-mail saying the delivery drivers vehicle have broken down…fair enough. I went I the chat the next day and they assured me it was coming that day (Saturday), nothing. It kept telling me to contact the seller, as it was Sunday I was a bit stuck. It appeared on the Monday but the tracking hasn’t updated…it was lucky I was wfh. Good luck!

I feel your pain. Having similar issues with DHL. Three different days I was given for last week and one for yesterday and another today. Five days I have had to wait in and the company I ordered from won't let me just cancel as it's a special order item 😬

Surprisingly, Evri are best for me, never any issues, leaves packages in the shed if I’m not in, always rings first, no problems. DPD are not bad but Yodel are the pits!

Told me my parcel had definitely been delivered ec n though l hadn’t received it and it was 3 days late.

Whilst l’m on to useless call handler, Yodel knocked at the door with the parcel that had been delivered.

Gosh, I feel old. I thought this was about lonely goatherds.

A few years ago, Yodel delivered my parcel to a completely wrong address and when I complained was directed to speak to the driver who said he’d handed it directly to some kids who opened the door but couldn’t remember the address 🤦🏻‍♀️. I’d just left a DV situation and was trying to settle into a new home and it was just too overwhelming to chase as they make it so you just go around 8n circles.

Yodel are awful. I actually cancelled my subscription from Gousto because they used Yodel for delivery. Every order had an issue with delivery; once they even threw the box over a 8ft fence into a wet, gravel yard at 9.30pm where it sat all night until 6am, open to the elements where it had smashed. Obviously being food, it wasn't usable. Luckily I had cctv and was refunded.

Finally arrived, an hour after the end of the delivery slot, whilst the tracking app said it was still 4 stops away! Still, at least they made it this time!
