Hammersmith tube station to Westferry DLR with wheelchair

Hello, has anyone done this journey via tube and DLR in a wheelchair? The accessibility helpline at TFL couldn’t help and suggested I ask at the station.

I think the issue is Canning Town lift isn’t working and I don’t think Westferry has a lift?

The wheelchair user can get out of the wheelchair and we can push it on to the train with a ramp.

Thanks

I tried the journey on the Tfl website journey planner, for 10am tomorrow morning, full step-free access required, the journey it gave me was :

District line to Whitechapel
Journey time: 32 min

Walk to Whitechapel Station / Royal London Hospital
Journey time: 6 min

205 bus to Mile End Station
Journey time: 8 min

D7 bus to Westferry
Journey time: 8 min

It didn't give DLR as an option at all, so I don't think you can use that to get there.

I had a similar query and I asked Chatgpt and gave all the details
Brilliant response

I also don't think Westferry has a lift. It's about 10 minutes walk along the quayside to West Ferry from Canary Wharf Elizabeth Line, so that might be a better option?

You could probably change to the Elizabeth Line at Moorgate or Farringdon?
