Look frumpy in everything

Had second baby a year ago, I have a c section pouch and I’m huge and apple shaped. Size 16 fits but 18 is more comfortable. I live in leggings and oversized jumpers which are comfy and get the job done.
Anyway, now I need an interview outfit and nothing fits. Trousers just show my horrid pouch and everything looks frumpy and awful.
Any suggestions for a nice dress with chelsea boots? I like the Claudia Winkleman style.

She can post where she likes. Who cares.

I was asking about intent; not permission …

Thank you - I’d not heard of Yours clothing!

A nice wrap dress which is flowy at the bottom rather than straight down. Even better if it's long sleeved with a bit of a puff at the cuff.

Should even out an apple shape nicely.

For obvious reasons that you tend to get more response here. Is that good enough reason for you?

If you're apple shaped i assume you have decent legs with slimmer hips? ?(im also an apple)

My go to is a really good blazer (I bought a hobbs one off vinted), good quality bootleg trousers, comfy shorts boots with a heel and a really nice blouse in a colour that suits you

I find a really good well cut jacket elevates your look and also looks great with a pair of dark jeans
The jacket will help disguise your tummy

I find the Seasalt dresses quite good for hiding my tummy overhang.

I'm an apple with a c-section pouch and I'm a size 18.

Wrap dresses do NOT suit me.

I need a dress that is floaty and empire shaped. Shorter - I wear with leggings and chunky boots. I channel my inner rock chick and wear with a retro thinner autumnal parka or leather jacket and the coolest shades I can find. Longer - and by this I mean LONG, not knee length or that odd almost but not quite mid calf length.. I want swishy - I wear with non chunky boots (like Moshulu Bardsey) or very cool trainers/sandals depending on the season. Sainsbury's TU has been amazing this last year for dresses that work with my body shape.

You need your hair and makeup to be fab. If my hair is good, I will feel (semi) invincible. What's your best feature to highlight makeup wise? We all have several.

Don't feel drab. You're better than this.

Same shape and size 8 years pp (now finally going down with Mounjaro).
High waist tailored trousers but they have to be flared for balance (with my tummy I feel that everything narrow at the ankle just accentuates that).
Short and fitted smart top for proportion (1/3 - 2/3 remember). A blazer you like. Loafers (or heels if you can manage, I can’t).

I saw a lady at the swim pool today. She was saying the same about her figure, tbh she looked fab. But when she dressed she was completely transformed. She had on a white ribbed highish neck vest. Over the top an oversized striped shirt, cornflower blue and white with just the button under her bust fastened. Dark navy shorts, opaque tights and dms. Her legs were absolutely incredible. Hair scooped up in a messy bun and just a dab of lipstick. The same effect would work for interview but with trousers or a slim skirt.
There are some awesome fine knit jumper dresses that woul Aldo look amazing and not too hot. Have a look at Silk Fred

I wouldn’t go for a dress- says the girl who’s spent twenty years in them. You can get a very sophisticated look with wide leg trousers, top and an unbuttoned shirt. Add the accessories and your bossing the outfit. This is more of an up to date look too.
