Bursary application for private school

Hi have applied for bursary in private school have receive an invitation for zoom meeting, i am not sure but as per so many thred here regarding bursary application mentioned they do home visit , which is not in our case . Is there anything to worried about? Any tips for zoom meeting? Like what do they ? ask etc

Just answer the questions honestly , meetings are normally to chat through the massive forms that you have to complete as they like to check that you haven't missed anything off or anything they need to clarify.Just be yourself. Bursars are very experienced at this sort of thing and in my experience very helpful

What was the bursary applied for? If you are saying you need help financially, I expect it will be going through your finances with a fine tooth comb.

There should be nothing in particular to be worried about. I haven’t experienced a zoom meeting (as opposed to home visits) but they’ll just be part of the process. It’s obviously stressful but it would be completely pointless to overthink it.

Try to have all your relevant documents to hand. And of course make a list of any questions you want to ask. But approach it with confidence and optimism - both you and the interviewer want the best for your child.

@moonstar27in AIBU seems an odd place to put this thread. Perhaps you’re not aware there is an Education board on MN, with topics including Private School, Boarding School, etc, etc … It’s generally best to post in the place where those responding actually understand the topic in question, rather than on AIBU which attracts people with no knowledge of a subject.
