To be annoyed M & S has stopped stocking above size L/18?

At least in my town. I’m a size 20 and M & S used to be one of the few shops I could go to - now all stops at 18/L!

I find stock levels in general in M&S to be pretty patchy. Can you order online for click and collect? I often have to do that anyway, and I'm a size 12.

It's location dependent, each store stocks sizes according to demographic.

I stopped going to my m and s because I'm an extra short size 6 and cant get anything in store. Haven't bought anything there in over 3 years (and it was my main go to for everyday clothing), cant be good for business.

Their clothes come up big and are getting bigger though so you might fit into an 18. If not, just order online.

I always do click n collect for M&S. it’s efficient and you get your size.

This is why I go to Bon Marche. I feel like it’s a granny shop but there’s some good stuff hidden in there.

Before it closed, there were always plenty of lower sizes and almost nothing above size 18, even when newly out on the shop floor

It's always been the case that different stores sold different sizings. My DH used to be huge and he had to travel around 100 miles to the nearest M&S that had a good range of the largest size clothes. Our local stores didn't sell big enough of anything other than underwear and some casual stuff - their range of suits, smart trousers, tailored shirts etc stopped a couple of sizes too small. Also, now we have full ranges available on line so stores are stocking less of everything, not just the extremes of sizes but also narrower ranges etc.

I have been finding the opposite recently. I’m not a size 14 from a 22 and it’s more the bigger sizes left whenever I’m looking for something. Ironically there were never any bigger sizes when i needed them. I’m searching for a jacket just now and i keep seeing it in size 8, 10 and 22 in store. Out of stock online of course.

I was in the Manchester store today buying pyjamas and they had size 20-22. I don’t look at anything else but pjs they had mostly larger sizes.

You need to get yourself up to the Newcastle-under-Lyme store, they regularly have sizes 20 & 22 on the racks there.

Their online plus sizes go up to a 24

I think online is actually up to 28

I have shopped there I am size 20-24 dependent on what and I find they have quite a good size range. I do go to bigger stores though!

You can’t expect them to stock everything that they have available online. This is what the internet is for.

I find the same at the other end, rarely have anything in a 6 and the few 8’s they have seem larger than in other shops.

Order online, M&S size 18 is the same size their 20 was 5 years ago.
