The doctor in question has a reasonably large (50k) following on TikTok and is currently on a TTC journey.
My concerns are twofold.
Firstly, she shares a lot of inaccurate information on her TikTok page. She will check tests the morning after and state that they are positive, despite being clear evap lines. She then labels her period as a chemical pregnancy.
She has stated in the past that she had endometriosis. She is now saying she didn’t - a clear lie.
Secondly she has admitted in comments that she “codes” any woman she sees in the accident and emergency with bleeding, who has had a positive pregnancy test at home and HCG under 1, as a miscarriage. This is a breach of the NICE guidelines which state that a suspected miscarriage must be confirmed by a pregnancy test in the ED.
I am concerned that she is not just sharing incorrect information on her TT page, but is also telling women who aren’t having miscarriages that they are. This could lead to unnecessary heartbreak and referrals for them.
AIBU to report her?
