Ha! Someone is older than me (just) . You are the same age as my DH and he's still pretty good.

I'm not sure about age not withering though. Bits of me are starting to show the first signs of it i'm sure

It's really quite er mature, isn't it.

Mind you, continuing the Antony and Cleopatra poncearama references I realised my salad days were well and truly over on the day a couple of years ago when we found someone had left a pair of pants at DD1's (sixth) birthday party. I have become one of life's pant-finders rather than pant-leavers...

gooseberryfoolmoonfiend · 05/06/2008 13:22

Happy Birthday, MI!!

I'll be 43 myself in a few short weeks, so I'm not far behind you

Yes, more wine is required. Wine is the answer.

Pidge · 05/06/2008 13:31

Hey, long time no see, had just been wondering about you this morning.

Very many happy returns. 45 sounds a fine age to me, I reckon we just improve with age anyway.

turquoise · 05/06/2008 13:32

Happy birthday. Treat yourself to some Creme de la Mer?

Nothing makes you feel older than Teenage Children, and it sounds as though you have a way to go before that horror unfolds. Enjoy it while ye may!

motherinferior · 05/06/2008 13:33

Oh god, yes, teenagers presumably leave thongs at parties. Even more depressing. In all sorts of ways.

It's the inexorable slide towards, well, age that I feel is being greased.
