Help me get the only thing my daughter wants for Christmas. Anyone work for NEXT?

As title says my daughter has only asked for one thing for Christmas. This coat in a size medium, but it’s not in stock anywhere near me. I keep checking on website for delivery but they go out of stock everytime any comes in. If you work for next can you tell me what time of day the website is updated with stock to give me the best chance? I'm invested in this - hope you get one OP and shows how great many of the mumsnetters are! OP I'm not currently able to get out n about but will keep an eye online n will order if I see. Even if you no longer need one, I'm pretty sure it would make a good gift to younger family members

Same as another poster said. I purchased a dress for my daughter in Navy this week because Burgundy had sold out. I had to return the navy dress as was too small and when I went to purchase the next size up, the burgundy was back in stock in all sizes. So check daily.

I believe that any shop can check stock company wide, I'm sure one did this for me a while back.

I’m loving this and getting excited for you all! I’ve had an issue with Next this week and have spoken many times to customer services. One of them told me if the item is in your basket and then shows as out of stock to call them and they may be able to add it back on. I don’t know how or why that will work but worth a call?

Can you ask the store to order one for you?

I know with sale stock 10.30am on a Monday tends to be a good time for restock and very early in the morning around 5am. So it may be the same for non sale, I remember a next working giving me the Monday tip

Bear in mind that receiving post from Ireland to UK will incur customs charges now we’ve left the EU. This would be 20% of the cost of the item in VAT plus a handling charge (about £10-£20 for most couriers)
