To want a swim cap that keeps hair dry?

Can anyone help? I like to swim, I wear a Zoggs tight fitting cap - other brands are available, but they seem much of a muchness. I do a nice sedate breaststroke and don’t swim underwater. But every time my (shortish) hair is dripping afterwards. I don’t want to have to keep washing and styling it! Anybody found the Holy Grail of swimming caps or solutions? Thank you! (Btw I have read that swimming caps are not meant to keep your hair dry but surely someone must have come up with something?!!! Is it really that difficult?)

hmm, it’s not even made it to the pool yet. My head is basically too big I think and my daughter agreed that there is no way I can possibly be seen anywhere with it on. I was actually considering coming back on this thread and offering to send it to anyone who wished to actually do the experiment.

I was considering buying a different one as my hair is getting ever more dried out - I have been looking at Simply Swim. Edited to add - a bit like the one KimberleyClark linked to but fewer flowers. It would be good to know how the sizing is.

Edited

oh dear, does it look some kind of bonnet then, is it that bad? thank you for saving me from being taken in by another foolish purchase anyway!

It makes me look like some kind of elf with thick black rubbery cling film on my head because it also seems to make my ears stick out (it says you should not cover them for it to be water tight).
Theoretically, you are supposed to be able to get it on your head, adjust the back fastening and then it can easily go on and off. I didn’t find it worked so easily in practice but conceptually, it’s a decent enough idea.
my daughter has a smaller head than me but point blank refused to even try it so 🤷🏻‍♀️

But did you try swimming with it?

Me? Sadly no, I did not get up the courage to step foot outside the house in it.

But you only have to wear it in the pool? (Pool side)
No one will care
