1. you have no idea what the UK role was or was not in any of this.
2. the deal signed was put together by Biden and his team a year ago and was on the table and close to agreement. Netanyahu just wasn't ready to sign it until now.

Why not just be pleased the hostages are finally home and the bombing has stopped?

But before people think I (a dirty forriner) am having a dig at the UK government; I read an interesting column in a German paper yesterday that said ALL of Europe has let down Israel.

The author was especially scathing about my home country (for obvious reasons), but also criticised the UK, France etc for formally recognising the state of Palestine. Just before the anniversary of the barbaric Oct 07th attacks no less.
