Hi
Have posted previously!
Have decide is I'm going to help my young adult child with their maths and English skills with the possibility of doing an online level two course or even a basic job.
In the past I have used Numerise maths platform and I'm going to look for any educational learning platforms on line for both maths and English.
Basically to brush up on their skills and any feedback on IXL learning or Good to learn English and maths online platforms.
At the moment I am using free BBC bitesize and BBC teach.
What would anyone suggest?
🙂🙂

I’ve been the adult learner for the past couple of years, struggled with English sites but the maths one that made such a difference for me was Khan academy, its free and it’s really good, I started at the very basics of maths (like 2+6= type thing) but they have that to all sorts of university level stuff, and im slowly working my way through all the basics, they’ve got really good video explanations

Mathsisfun is useful for explaining concepts. I have used it a lot to brush up on areas I had forgotten when helping DCs with maths homework.

You tube is probably worth a look too for explanations rather than examples. Although obviously some will be better than others.
