On top of another situation with his ex, I noticed that my partner has been logging in to Snapchat daily. The green light was constantly on.

He is in his 40s and admitted he used to use it when he was newly single.

He said he hasn’t used it for months, since we became more serious.

However every day the active shone green. Every day, for weeks and weeks and weeks, until I confronted it.

He said he hasn’t even accessed it for months and months and so doesn’t understand why it is green/active. He said he had an old iPad and it was downloaded on there but even then he wasn’t accessing it all.

Do I believe him but I must don’t see how this can be soooo inaccurate.

I feel like breaking up.

Why does he have to admit to using Snapchat? Isn’t it a fairly run of the mill social media account?

If you’re monitoring his SM use on top of another issue, personally I’d part ways. Also would suggest you seek some counselling around your low self esteem.

Best.

You make it sound so innocent

It's very much associated with cheating.

Because he is in his 40s and he admitted using it as a dating app when he was single. He has no reason to be on there. It’s for the younger generation. He doesn’t have children on there that he is keeping an eye on.
