What is this alien life form? (Dr says nowt to worry about but it keeps growing and getting more sore).

On my 10yo. Grown quite rapidly over the past few weeks. I’ve sent in a picture to the GP who just made me feel a bit silly. But seems to be growing fast and hairdresser suggested germolene today.
AIBU to do a GP consult asap? Or should I just leave it? (I’d love to know what it actually is….)

What did the GP say? How big is it?

I think if it's causing discomfort and it's got worse since you last spoke to GP, it's right to make a new appointment.

See a different GP. There’s something not right about that. Don’t be fobbed off.

Have a Google of pyogenic granuloma. One the size of a pea grew on my lip when I was pregnant. Gp did a referral but it was 10week wait on the nhs for removal. Cost me £300 to have it shaved off at a private clinic.

Maybe a cyst or lipoma
I'd see the GP again if its hurting.
