Really worrying! What will happen when the users want a real relationship. They will expect their gf to be a real life sex doll who is submissive and they can do anything they want to. Not a human being they are in an equal relationship with. Women already have to put up with crap men, this will just make it worse.

I agree, AI girlfriends are not going to be practice for how to treat women respectfully in real life. It’s just going to entrench the view that women should be submissive and mouldable to the desires of men.

The article clearly says that demand is highest in 18-24 age group. Those men are not going to want a real relationship with a real human (or at least be capable of managing a relationship) after an AI girlfriend.
