Nearly 500 arrested for support for Palestinian Action Group a proscribed terrorist organisation

NototerrorismIntheUK · 05/10/2025 09:16

This is getting ridiculous. The same group, think they can do what they want which includes, using a sledgehammer to attack a person, breaking into a military base and causing millions of pounds worth of damage. Hatred towards Jewish people.

It appears these people feel the law doesn't apply to them. None of the above is peaceful protest. Stronger sentences or fines are needed.

I am not Jewish, nor a fan of the Israeli approach to this disaster but honestly I am appalled. I can’t believe these people are British, and support Hamas and terrorism to the extent they will be this disrespectful.

Truly disgusting

I am really beginning to see what we are up against now.

What are ‘you’ up against

You haven’t answered my question

What do they need to respect and how do you know they don’t respect whatever it is?

NototerrorismIntheUK · 05/10/2025 09:31

Im a UK citizen that walked through a protest several months ago and felt really uncomfortable and I'm not Jewish.

Why is it when people don't support the protesters we are called bots or Israeli spreaders if something or another. Why are WE nit allowed to disagree with the marches? Ridiculous.

You are allowed to disagree? You are on here disagreeing?

How do you know ‘ they’ support Hamas? Maybe they support humanity and trying to stop innocent children being murdered

You know full well what we’re talking about, you’re just playing (hopefully) dumb.

And if those people had any shred of humanity they would have listened to their own conscience as well as the police and postponed their bloody march for at least a week!

2 Jewish people being killed?

What has that got to do with the protest against the banning of Palestine action? I hope you are not insinuating those killed have anything to do with that genocide.
How many children were murdered in Palestine yesterday?

WestwardHo1 · 05/10/2025 17:11

You really do have to wonder why it's these murdered children in particular that they are so obsessed with. Not the murdered children in all the other conflicts in the world. The female children in Afghanistan who are not allowed to use their voices outside their home, lest they tempt some adult male or who are not allowed to sing, to laugh, to communicate with the outside world, to get an education, to receive medical care. The female children in the DRC who I referred to in my previous post. The children in Xinjiang province who are in camps for "re education". The Rohingya children Myanmar. The children in South Yemen who are being starved and bombed by Saudi Arabia.

What is it about the oppressors in Gaza that fires them up so much? I wonder...?

SomethingFun · 05/10/2025 17:12

I’m not accusing anyone of being a bot but there is something not right with a lot of posts about this topic. I don’t feel it’s people posting who genuinely care about the cause that they espouse because the wording is off and is far too similar across multiple posters and threads and over time. I’ve read more than I’ve wrote because I don’t see the point in engaging with someone who I’m not sure is going to debate but is just going to parrot sound bites and whataboutery. It’s very similar in tone and feeling to the trans rights posts that flooded the feminism boards a year or two ago.

Maybe this is the standard of debate these days, I don’t know. But I can see that the posters whose names I recognise from other topics write like real people and respond uniquely.

sunflower1022 · 05/10/2025 17:12

Just when you thought people couldn’t possibly sink any lower they rise to the occasion.

Got it, you’re on the right side. You’re kind.

Did the murders of the people on 7th October (including babies and children) fire you up so much?

Are we helping to murder the children in the other countries too?
And how do you know I don’t care about any children being murdered? I thought this was a thread about Palestine action so made reference to murders in Palestine

WestwardHo1 · 05/10/2025 17:16

How many children were murdered in Palestine yesterday?

This is a genuine question. Do you regard all civilian deaths in war as murder? Actual murder? Do you see the RAF who served in WWII as murderers? After all, they were responsible for the deaths of children.

How many children died then and how many died since

How many more children have to die before you object to what is happening?

WestwardHo1 · 05/10/2025 17:20

Of course I object to what is happening. Of course people object to what is happening.

We can object to what is happening without marching through London and shouting antisemitic slogans and diverting police resources away from protecting the very people who need protecting the very day after they have endured a terrorist attack. A couple of murders, seeing as you like the word so much.

An excellent article which was shared to me, explaining how malign these marches actually are: they openly promote hatred including Anti-Semitism, as well as promoting terrorism. They are a national security concern.

Yanbu OP

I asked a simple question at a pro-Palestine protest and it turned ugly

Police arrested 493 people at the pro-Palestine protests in Trafalgar Square, where I encountered abuse, swearing, ignorance and virulent, unthinking antisemitism

It is so awful; I watched the documentary (not some crap on TikTok and the like) and it was harrowing.

One of the young women raped and killed was a German/ Israeli woman called Shani Louk.

What about the Bibas family, the young mother and her two beautiful babies.

The fact that it’s the anniversary of these horrors in two days makes all this even more distasteful.

And people can march through London objecting to a genocide and the murder of thousands in cold blood if they wish too

But why, if it’s truly just to object against the war (and God knows they have made their voices heard over the past I don’t know how many months) do they have to do it a couple of days after a terror attack when they know (unless they are utterly thick) the Jewish community will be grieving/ on high alert/ feeling vulnerable.

There is no justification for it. There really isn’t.

And that’s before we even talk about how it diverts precious police resources that were/are needed to protect synagogues.

Did I say it wasn’t?

War is awful and unfortunately people die.

But you really cannot escape the fact that Hamas started this war.

That doesn’t justify the clear indifference towards the loss of tens of thousands of Palestinian women and children shown on these threads. The endless Hamas started it rhetoric is wearing thin now.

I could reply, but what’s the point?

And if you don’t think that there is a clear difference between certain religions and how they behave when their ‘enemy’ is attacked or killed then I have a bridge to sell you.

But of course it’s not ok to say that. Anywhere.

So let’s just say you won the argument. I’ll bow out.

There was a ceasefire in force, which Hamas unambiguously broke.
