My Mother told my friend that she tried to abort me, however only aborting my twin! Obviously this was not done in a safe way as it was in the late 70's.... I've went no contact as a result of many other issues with her nastiness prior to this... Now I'm being ignored by my siblings! Only for finally refusing to be treated like cesp...Why are people so cruel 😢

Please seek therapy to start healing from the cruelty and callousness of your mum.

Yanbu. She should have never told your friend about that as it's really not knowledge that should have reached your ears as it's hurtful to you to have that knowledge. It'll be also very hurtful that your siblings have turned their backs on you but be strong and move forward with the knowledge that you are better off without people like that.

I think maybe you have realised your dm is not a nice person. Your siblings may not have yet. It can take a very long time for people to realise their childhood wasn't normal.

Thank you for responding. She has always treated me differently to my siblings, even tho I'm a good person and have raised 3 wonderful children whom I adore. She wouldn't like this as she chose me to be horrible too, just like her mum chose her. The cycle broke with my children. The are my world. Yes siblings are aware.. They don't care as they are happy

Happened to my cousin, born in the early 80s. My aunt went for an abortion which the doctor said had been completed, only to find out she was still pregnant. Cousin has always been surprisingly relaxed about this, aunt doted over the guy all his life and passed away recently.
