Does anyone else get days like this?

I literally have not had a single second to myself today (until now I guess). My baby has been so unsettled and not sleeping and in between that, general housework (nothing massive just dishes as they come and making bottles etc), 2 primary aged DC and a DH with a bad cold, I’ve not had one single second to myself. I guess I rush peed a few times today. Baby is now asleep but I need to put her into her bed and I know she’ll wake up. Does anyone else get days like this? I can’t be the only one?

Sounds normal.

You survived. How about congratulating yourself on surviving?

Many would have thrown in the towel - walked away!!

And guess what what? You get to do it all again tomorrow.

Walked away to where? But thank you 🙂 I don’t remember it being this hard when other DC were little!

When mine were little, yes. Add 2 dogs & working as well. Looking back I "lost" a year. Every day just blurred together.
But it gets better. Different stages, different problems. But also a lot of fun & love.
Try & get an hour to yourself every day. Dh needs to step up so you can get out on your own, or even get a soak in the bath. Some days I went & did the weekly shop at 5.30am (lived near 24hr Tesco at the time) so I was back before dh & kids woke up. It meant I got it done in peace.

Im out the other side now and at the teenager stage.

It gets easier I promise .

Everyday, feel like I’m on a hamster wheel.
