obviously all the craziness over her divorce, custody arrangements is well documented and iirc she once lost her shit with someone in a car park , proper road rage/parking rage type incident. She really needs therapy/help.

It’s such a waste of time trying appeal to any of these people to see the situation from the perspective of Ioan’s children.

They have as much contempt for Ioan’s children as they do for their mother.

It’s deeply disturbing.

Most people can see that Ioan hasn’t fought half as much as he should have done for his children. And that he’s made some really questionable decisions regarding his new relationship and prioritising that relationship over his children’s wellbeing.

It is completely reasonable to take the position that the children have been let down by both their mother and their father, and that regardless of what has went on between the parents, individually, neither parent seems capable of putting the girls and their needs first.

However, a specific group of individuals have essentially been harrassing Ioan’s ex wife for years, stalking the internet for any mention of her or Ioan and spamming the comments with ABUSER, COURT DOCUMENTS, FACTS, ABUSE APOLOGIST blah, blah, blah.

They have descended on this thread and it’s really best not to engage with them.

Last night, we had people admitting to a fellow Tattle user walking past Alice Evans’s home.. But that’s fine, because it’s not illegal to find out where a complete stranger to you and their family live, and to purposely walk past their home multiple times and report back to a site that is stalking and harrassing that person.

Nor is it illegal to contact a random court to request the court papers for multiple cases involving people who you do not know and who are complete strangers to you, and to publish those papers online (releaving names, addresses, school details etc), on a site that is stalking and harrassing that person.

It’s not illegal, weirdly. But is it right?

Does any of this seem within the parameters of normal behaviour?

I don’t agree with websites banding together and promoting one viewpoint but saying someone admitted to walking past Alice’s house is 1) a lie 2) nothing whatsoever to do with the issue at hand - Alice’s bullying & harassing behaviour to her neighbour, her extremely questionable past behaviour and her obvious substance abuse issues. Alice needs to focus on addressing her behavioural and potential addiction issues.

1. It absolutely is not a lie. A tattle user was walking past Alice’s house, she was detailing it on Tattle when she was doing it years ago, and another poster on MN (who is also a Tattle user) admitted to it having happened on this very thread last night.
2. Did Mumsnet make you the thread police? The thread has obviously evolved since it was started and strayed from the original issue. Which is a completely normal thing to happen. It’s so weird to jump in on a thread at page 23, and tell people their posts are irrelevant to the thread, when these are conversations that have unfolded over multiple pages, with multiple user contributing. But then again; this thread has been a weird one anyway.

I think you find that I said a poster lived in her neighbourhood had walked past her house. Not the stalking you seem to think t was, but nothing will stop you in your defence of domestic abusers
