MyPithyCat · 28/09/2025 09:47

And when are you home

OP posts:
SunnyDolly · 28/09/2025 09:48

Depends totally on the night out.

JasperTheDoll · 28/09/2025 09:48

Afternoon drinking and home by 10 is the way forward for me these days.

MyJKwasasaint · 28/09/2025 09:49

I prefer going out around 4 and home by 9 😂

Oh yes I love this now

herbalteabag · 28/09/2025 09:51

Much earlier than when I was younger! I go out by about 6.30 or 7 and come home at around 11.

childofthe607080s · 28/09/2025 09:52

Anytime from 5 ( or earlier if heading to the city) to 830 ( after that I get settled ) and anytime from 9 till 1am ? This is rather vague

Love your user name! Thats was my favourite book as a pre teen!

Sugarfish · 28/09/2025 09:53

I don’t really have set times. If I’m meeting mates and have some drinks at their house first we might not go out out until 9 or 10. If we’re meeting out for dinner or cocktails then I’ll probably go out about 7. The time home depends on how the night goes. Could be home at midnight if it’s dead out or I’m really tired. Could be 4am if I’m having a good time.

Bimblebombles · 28/09/2025 09:55

6.45pm and home by 10pm 😂 my night outs though consist of going out for dinner once the baby sitters here and coming home after 1 glass

Battical · 28/09/2025 09:56

It depends.

I’m in my mid-40s and when out with my friends we tend to start earlier, so 3-4pm.

Some nights that means we’re home for 10pm. If it’s a “bigger” night, midnight.

I was on a hen a few weeks ago that was out until 2am.

Back in the day (my 20s) it could occasionally be 5-7am on a weekend, but that was following a later start.

TheChosenTwo · 28/09/2025 09:59

We went out last night, got a taxi at 6pm and home at 1am.
Totally depends on what’s happening though of course!
I’m usually an out at 7 and home by 11 type but will go out earlier and stay later depending on the occasion.

Sundaymorningshopping · 28/09/2025 09:59

It's such a vague question OP I'm struggling to see why you are asking.
There are so many variables .

HollyGolightly4 · 28/09/2025 10:00

Anybody else laugh at the days they used to go predrinking at 11, and head out to the club at midnight 🤣

Ponoka7 · 28/09/2025 10:01

We can start by having tea out, then be in the pub until closing time. Or out for the match/boxing, until closing time. Or we are going to a concert/show in town (Liverpool) and we can be out until 1.30am. When I do a theatre break in London, I love night bus rides. It's like being in a zombie apocalypse, outside St Paul's Cathedral etc between 1-3am.

MaloryJones · 28/09/2025 10:01

I get there at 9.15ish as karaoke ends at 1.00
Depending if I get a bus or cab I'm home anywhere between 1.30 and 2.30 as a rule.

RampantIvy · 28/09/2025 10:02

About 7, home by 10.

Living the high life here Grin

This. So much better in every way.

MyPithyCat · 28/09/2025 10:04

Not sure what time they go (maybe 6 or 7) but often when people in our town go out a Saturday we hear them coming home at midnight (cars, taxis, people shouting). Glad I never hear drunk people at 5am anymore not like when I was little, imagine getting woken up

RampantIvy · 28/09/2025 10:04

Interestingly, it really is a thing now that people go out earlier and come home earlier.

I recently went to the cinema in town with friends. As we were leaving at about 10ish the taxi queues were really long because people were going home.

Fuelledbylatte · 28/09/2025 10:05

Last night out at 7.30, home by 11.30; dinner with friends.

Party week before, out at 8, home sometime after 2.

Depends on the occasion, doesn’t it?

warmapplepies · 28/09/2025 10:06

I probably haven't been on a night out since before COVID Grin

I'd much rather go for breakfast/brunch/lunch.

Would imagine they got to the pub at 5

Go out at 6 or 7pm, home at 10 or 11pm, but hardly ever go out anymore

childofthe607080s · 28/09/2025 10:42

There has been a well documented huge decline in nightclubs which will play into the lack of 5am stragglers

Shane really but it’s possibly a decline in youth drinking culture, people being too uptight to dance sober
