To ask what chairs people use at breakfast bar for kids?

We eat all our meals at the breakfast island in the kitchen, used to have a clamp on highchair for my son, now he's 5 so out of that but doesn't seem too comfy on the normal bar stools (no where to rest his feet!)

Does anyone have any recommendations - bar stools for kids? Work around to adapt adult bar stools? The Stoke trip trap looks good but unfortunately too short for the breakfast bar/island situation!

We started off with ones with backs on so DC didn’t fall off backwards. Then moved onto low back ones but use those rubber exercise band things wrapped round the legs which give something for them to push feet against.

Ah ok cool, could try the exercise band thing. Yeh ours all have backs on. It's the footrest being too low for his feet that's the issue! I wish there was one with an adjustable footrest!
