To ask for Tube advice for Saturday/Wembley Park

Londeners please help!

Many years back, I went to a concert at Wembley Park and remember it being well signposted but it took ages to get on the tube after a concert. Do you have any advice about how to handle tube travel on Saturday? I need to get to a stop on the metropolitan line after my concert at Wembley Park.

Should I try to walk to a different tube stop eg Preston Road - or maybe leave the concert before the end to get ahead of the rush? Or just chill and go with the flow? Could it take like 2 hours or something? I'm with DD hence feeling a bit 'cautious'.

Thank you 🙏

I’m going on Sunday with my son. I initially thought about leaving early but have decided to go with the flow - I spoke to someone who went to one of their earlier concerts and they said it wasn’t too bad. I live on the south coast so will miss the last train back & have booked a premier inn at Victoria to take the pressure off!’

I need to be on the jubilee line so will go back via Wembley Park. They are completely used to running these big events- it will be well organised and fine I think. I read 45 mins queue was average.

Chill and go with the flow
It looks crazy but it's well organised. Might take a while though.
But I would take it over walking to another an finding that busy too with less organisation.

After Harry Styles we went for a drink to ‘let it die down’ and the queue for the tube was still well down Wembley way. We sucked up the cost and got an Uber back to our hotel in Kensington.

I want to Oasis in July. It was total carnage trying to get into all the tube stations nearby.

Don’t leave early, it’s a once in a lifetime experience. Just head to a bar or restaurant and sit out in comfort rather than queuing for 90 mins!
