Maybe it’s just me, but I always do. I think it’s because nothing ever turns out to be serious so I feel like I shouldn’t be using the GP/health service.

Yep. I have a slight pain in a part of my body which I should get looked at, because a few years ago I had to have a benign growth removed from the opposite side. There's potential that it could be something sinister, but I can't feel a lump so feel like I'd be wasting their time to say "this hurts when I poke it".

I get that!! I had surgery eight weeks ago and have a blocked up ear which I think comes from that. I feel like an idiot going because of a blocked ear!

I can be actively dying (and in one case was on the road to sepsis, so sort of was) and I still feel like an inconvenience whenever I go to the GP!

I’ve had a fever of over 40 and felt like a pain when I called! It’s just awful

I need my gallbladder out, but I just can't face going to see the GP for a referral. I'm overweight and they'll just despise me and I'll feel even worse. I just treat everything by myself at home, but it's often a struggle.

Yes! I’ve had a lifetime of doctor avoiding and now I have a few ailments that I can’t deal with myself, I HATE ‘bothering’ the doctor.
