As the title says really -
interviewed for my dream job last week, and was called last night saying I was an ideal candidate and that I was more than appoint-able, but there was someone else with a little more experience than me who scored the same as me who they had to offer the post to first - but he’s unsure if he wants it.
it’s a very niche role offering services at a regional level (south east based)
not only is it my dream job, in terms of the work I’d be undertaking. Ita a raise and would allow me to leave H, who has a bit of a temper and I’d love to be able to buy him out the house. The seniority would also mean Monday to Friday working, and weekends and bank holidays at home for DD, ability to take AL in school hols, and the ability to work a bit more flexibly to attend school events which I don’t currently have
it would absolutely change my life.
the chap has until Friday midday to make up his mind and they’ll get back to me at 1400 on Friday.
