To people who said her husband was hateful and what they preached was hateful, she just forgave the killer, as God would. Powerful speech.

The messed up young man who thought shooting man he didn't like was the answer, will go to prison and no longer be with his boyfriend. Erika Kirk no longer has her husband and her children have list their father.

Yeah, because it's so 'hateful' to point at that at no time did I defend school shooters. And if that other poster isn't careful they'll be banned permanently. Stalking me and harassing me onto this thread to spew hate is not accepted on this site.

I don't agree with that. She seems more stronger and more conservative than Kirk. And she didn't need anyone to tell her what to say when she made that 'they have no idea of what they've unleashed' comment. She more than holds her own well.

I don’t think Charlie had hateful views. I think Charlie had highly religious views in many cases, some I agreed with and views on abortion I only partially agreed with, but I respected his opinions which were anchored in his faith.

I don’t remember anything he said that could be deemed hateful to a group of people. An unwelcome truth maybe, deliberately taken out of context often, polarising for sure, but I don’t recognise hateful.

I watched the memorial last night and it was beautiful. I really enjoyed hearing from RFK; JD Vance and Trump at the end. I thought they came across as very genuine. Charlie had a lovely send off, which he deserved. Erika was very brave and I feel for her and Charlie’s children and parents.

I thought her forgiveness was inspiring. I’m not sure I could forgive someone who destroyed my life the way that Tyler Robinson destroyed her family’s. As for him, I agree that forgiveness is good for Erika, but justice should also prevail, whatever that might be.

She’s said she won’t ask for the death penalty to be taken off the table. She could if she wanted to and I totally think she’d be listened to. But guess she does actually want revenge. Actions speak louder than words.

You can forgive someone and still expect justice. If justice is the death penalty then that is what it is. Forgiveness is largely for the person doing the forgiving anyway.
